Mirik is a picturesque hill station located in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. Daywise Tour Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival & Transfer to Gangtok :

Our representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) - He will assist guest for the forwarding journey to Darjeeling– Reach Darjeeling and check into the hotel - In the evening one is free to stroll around Mall / local market - Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

DAY 2

Excursion to Changu Lake & Baba Temple :

After breakfast day excursion to the oval shaped changu lake /Tsomgo Lake (40 kms from Gangtok departure in the morning) - situated at a height of 3,780 mts. with an average depth of 50 ft and home to the Brahminy duck and several migratory birds. On the way stop at Kyongnosla The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Travel to Baba Mandir another 17 kms beyond Tsomgo lake.Return to Gangtok. Overnight halt at Gangtok Hotel.

DAY 3

Gangtok Local Sightseeing :

After breakfast at the hotel. Move for Gangtok local city tour. Covering - Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Gonjang Monastery, Bakthang Waterfalls, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Do-Drul Chorten Stupa, Flower Exhibition Centre, Ropeway. After sightseeing, drive back to the hotel. Evening is free for your leisure or you may stroll to the M G Market. Night stay at Gangtok.

DAY 4

Gangtok to Pelling Transfer :

After breakfast transfer to Pelling and check in at the hotel .Rest of the day is free for individual activity. Enjoy the local beauty of pelling .Overnight stay at Pelling.

DAY 5

Pelling Local Sightseen :

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing which includes Rimbi Waterfall , kanchanjungha Waterfall, Khecheopalri Lake, Kechipalri Monastery, Rabdantse ruins , Pemagyangtse Monastery,Heliad ground, Rimbi orange garden, bird Century Park. Overnight stay at pelling.

DAY 6

Pelling To Darjeeling Transfer :

After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling. Check-in at Hotel/ Resort and overnight stay. Evening free to go around the famous Mall road. Enjoy the local beauty of Darjeeling

DAY 7

Darjeeling Local Sighteeing :

Early morning (at around 4 AM) start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise  (Depending on the availability of tickets ), Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, War Memorial. Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Tea garden and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Close on Thursday). Sightseeing places are dynamically set depending upon local authority permission and time factors. it is may not possible to visit all the places but the important ones are covered for the satisfaction of guest. Rest of the day is free for individual activity. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

DAY 8

Excursion to Mirik Lake & Pashupati Market Sightseen :

Early morning breakfast – Next start for the 32 kilometers drive via Nepal border to Mirik – It’s a two hours drive - Mirik is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling - It is known  for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Samendu Lake and its pleasant Climate - The drive is scenic and so is the place both attracts tourist in hordes – Halt at Seemana for view for viewing of Mount Kanchendzonga - Activity like  boating in the lake is also in the card for guest - On the way visit simana view point in (Nepal Border )- Drive back to Darjeeling nearly 32 kilometers and 1 ½ - 2 hour’s drive - Back to Hotel – Late evening free to stroll around Mall or visit some of the pub, Eateries, studio or bakery with cafeteria OverNight halt at Darjeeling.

DAY 9

Departure to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)

After breakfast transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) /Siliguri - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey.
