Katao is a lesser-known destination in the state of Sikkim, India. It is located in the North Sikkim district, near the town of Lachung. The best time to visit is during the winter months, from December to February, when the region is covered in snow. However, the monsoon season (June to September) should be avoided due to heavy rainfall and landslides.
