Pelling is a picturesque town in the western part of Sikkim, India, known for its stunning views of the Himalayas, especially the majestic Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world.

  • Panoramic Views: Pelling offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks, making it a favorite among trekkers and nature lovers. The sunrise over Kanchenjunga is particularly spectacular.

  • Pemayangtse Monastery: This ancient monastery, established in the 17th century, is one of the oldest in Sikkim. It features intricate murals and stunning architecture and is a significant center for Buddhist learning.

  • Khecheopalri Lake: Considered a sacred lake by both Buddhists and Hindus, this tranquil spot is surrounded by forest and is known for its clear waters. It's a great place for peace and reflection.

  • Rabdentse Ruins: The remains of the ancient palace of the Sikkimese king provide insight into the region's history and culture. The site offers stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains.

  • Skywalk: Pelling has a popular skywalk that provides a thrilling experience with panoramic views from a glass bridge. It’s an exciting spot for photography and enjoying the landscapes.

Daywise Tour Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival & Transfer to Darjeeling :

Our representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) - He will assist guest for the forwarding journey to Darjeeling– Reach Darjeeling and check into the hotel - In the evening one is free to stroll around Mall / local market - Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

DAY 2

Darjeeling Local Sighteeing :

Early morning (at around 4 AM) start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise  (Depending on the availability of tickets ), Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, War Memorial. Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Tea garden and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Close on Thursday). Sightseeing places are dynamically set depending upon local authority permission and time factors. it is may not possible to visit all the places but the important ones are covered for the satisfaction of guest. Rest of the day is free for individual activity. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

DAY 3

Darjeeling to pelling transfer :

After breakfast transfer to Pelling and check in at the hotel .Rest of the day is free for individual activity. Enjoy the local beauty of pelling .Overnight stay at Pelling.

DAY 4

Pelling Local Sightseen To Gangtok Transfer :

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing which includes Rimbi Waterfall , kanchanjungha Waterfall, Khecheopalri Lake, Kechipalri Monastery, Rabdantse ruins , Pemagyangtse Monastery,Heliad ground, Rimbi orange garden, bird Century Park. Then transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 5

Excursion to Changu Lake & Baba Temple :

After breakfast day excursion to the oval shaped changu lake /Tsomgo Lake (40 kms from Gangtok departure in the morning) - situated at a height of 3,780 mts. with an average depth of 50 ft and home to the Brahminy duck and several migratory birds. On the way stop at Kyongnosla The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Travel to Baba Mandir another 17 kms beyond Tsomgo lake.Return to Gangtok. Overnight halt at Gangtok Hotel.

DAY 6

Departure to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) :

After breakfast transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) /Siliguri - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey.
